My Approach
With a camera in hand, my instinct is loudest when I’m observing the quiet choreography of everyday life, like on a city street. The tension, beauty, and chance encounters pull me into the present like nothing else. I felt that same sense of presence the first time I photographed a wedding—and I knew I wanted to feel it again and again.
I photograph weddings in the tradition of street photography and cinema: unobtrusive, curious, and guided by light, composition, and color. I walk through a wedding like a traveler in a new city—attentive, responsive, open to the unexpected. My goal is to create a visual narrative that reflects not just what it looked like, but how it felt to be there.
Presence is everything. I want my clients to feel free to be fully in the moment with the people they love, in the place they chose, on a day that will never happen again. I offer direction when it’s needed, but I never direct the experience. A wedding day is like a river, you can swim against the current or float with it. I choose to float, and I invite you to do the same.
I work best with couples who value trust, honesty, and subtlety. The relationship between photographer and client is intimate. It requires vulnerability. That’s something I take seriously and hold with care.
I learned photography with film, and while I now use digital cameras alongside it, film remains central to how I see and shoot. It’s slower, more intentional, and grounded in instinct, the same instinct that brought me here in the first place.
